Online gambling operator, 1xBet, has been closed in the UK and, according to Sunday Times, the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) is currently investigating all of 1xBet’s activities. It turns out that mentioned gambling operator failed to follow the rules and regulations established by UKGC.

The operator’s site in the UK is also not available and it will be likely so for the time being it seems. 1xBet collaborated with FSB Tech, a platform provider.

1xBet has a lot of customers in the UK, and naturally, they have been concerned about their account balances. FSB stated that there is no reason for concern.

In the FSB tech, they say that 1xBEt always complied with its own UK regulatory obligations. Despite this, the procedure requires the relationship between operator and provider to be examined as well.

As for 1xBet, they have been persecuted for numerous charges. Earlier this year, the operator was caught getting involved in cockfights and under-19 athletic competitions. 1xBet also advertised on video file-sharing sites.

The biggest of all irregularities were 1xBet’s relationship with ‘pornhub casino’. This particular establishment includes topples croupiers and also advertises female cartoon nude characters. All of this linked back to the UK site.

The spokesperson of the online gambling operator told the news that all these misdeeds were the result of the third-party networks of partners and they promised that investigation of these activities will be undertaken immediately.

1xBet worked as a Russian betting operator and even had overseas operations in places as Cyprus and Curacao. Now all of these businesses are in serious risk, especially since Russia put the operator on the online gambling payment processing blacklist.

The operator had partnerships with Barcelona, Liverpool, and Chelsea and now all their relationship is put at risk.

This is not the first incident of this kind for 1xBet. They were hit by regulators in the Netherlands some time ago for unauthorized targeting of consumers. The fine was €400,000 big. The operator simply didn’t have a license to operate in that country.
