Adam Apicella Announces His New Company, Esport Engine

Adam Apicella, once the former VP of Activision Blizzard, has now officially become the owner of a newly formed company, Esports Engine. He announces the launch of Esports Engine recently and we can expect a new company to make some noise in the esports community soon.

Esports Engine will be focused on competition operation, live broadcast, production, and ecosystem design. Apicella said that his company was founded to better organize the budget of companies in an industry that is constantly moving forward.

“We know there is a better way to not only execute esports programming but that a transparency laden approach to the business itself needed to happen for both the publishers and the community,” Apicella said.

“This shared ideology is why we are launching Esports Engine alongside Mike Sepso, Sundance DiGiovanni, Bryan Binder, and Jason Garmise under the umbrella and leadership of Vindex. By combining forces with the amazing team over at Next Generation Esports, we are poised to create the operational solution we have always dreamed of,” Apicella added.

It is no doubt that Apicella’s experience that he earned while working in Blizzard will help him in this fresh, new project.
