Last Monday, AGTech Holding won the bidding to provide sports lottery terminals in two Chinese provinces. From now on, AGTech will provide the terminals and supplies to the sports lottery administration in the provinces of Jiangsu and Heilongjiang.
This is a big step forward for the company, at least when it comes to expanding into China. AGTech already has a presence in six provinces (Tianjin, Hainan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Anhui, and Beijing) and it seems that they are planning on monopolizing that nation’s market. After all, they sold more than 50% of the total lottery hardware terminals that are used by the China sports lottery.
Still, there are 18 more provinces to conquer and it is unknown if the company is ready to seize them too.
AGTech chairman and CEO, John Sun is excited about this new development:
“So far, AGTech GOT has already won many tenders in various provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China, further reaffirming our hardware division’s continued dedication to and leading position in China’s lottery industry. AGTech will continue to enhance product innovation, ensure safety and R&D compliance, and contribute to the overall healthy development of China’s lottery market.”
AGTech, lottery and mobile games and entertainment developer, is a giant, especially on the Asian market. Although their focus has been on China only, one could only expect that when they conquer that market they will move on to neighboring countries for sure.
