All signs point out that Kawhi Leonard is staying in Toronto for at least one or two more seasons. If Kawhi is to avail himself in free agency this summer, he would be one of the biggest names to watch.
Several sources reported that Leonard had bought property in Toronto something that he denied on Sunday. However, he still did not rule out the claim. He said that it did not happen.
Many previously thought that he would end up in either Los Angeles or Clippers. This speculation was based on the fact that he owned property in Southern California.
The last time when Leonard spoke, he did not give hints about his future. Many had assumed that Leonard would seek free agency after the NBA Finals with the Raptors. But as the rumors go, he may like to stay in Toronto than in any other team. While it is inevitable that he will not stay long in Toronto, it is fairer for Raptors if he stays for one or two season.
Leonard will feature in a list of stars that include Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker, and Klay Thompson.
While we are still not sure which teams he will sign with, but we are confident that he will have a positive impact wherever he will sign.
