Every year on 1st December we all observe the World AIDS Day. Among many tech companies, Apple is a one that actively pushes population for AIDS program. It creates awareness among the people. It has been announced before that the company also puts efforts on fundraising in honor of World AIDS Day. Every year this process takes place within the 1st day of December to the 7th day of December. Any purchase of the Apple product from the Apple Store or from the Apple website, $1 from every product globally will be donated to (RED).
All the PRODUCT (RED) from this particular brand plays a major role all year round. If any person buys any (RED) brand product then 50% of the profit from each sale will be directly sent to the Global Fund. This is a form of partnership organization which is designed to fast-track the end of disease like AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria.
It has been stated by the RED that around $600 million has been raised since it has been found. On the other hand, the Global Fund stated that it invested around $4 billion every year just to support a cause like that. This program runs in more than 140 countries. A very significant and strong statement has been stated by RED, i.e. in the year 2005 around 1200 babies were born worldwide each day with HIV. But now presently the number came down to 400 a day.
All new and special publication of iPhones and their accessories joined into a partnership with Apple (RED) and the Global Fund. Their only aim is to fight AIDS. Apple is the world’s largest corporate donor to the Global Fund.
