Arsenal are interested in signing Gremio attacker Everton Soares as they consider him financially viable option compared to Wilfried Zaha.
Everton, 22, has already claimed that he has an offer on the table but did not name a particular club.
The Gunners would prefer the Brazil international to the highly expensive Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha.
Everton was Gremio’s top scorer last season with 10 goals in 28 games and was involved in Brazil’s Copa America triumph. He was also man of the match in the final against Peru.
The Londoners face competition from other European clubs including Atletico Madrid, who are ready to bid £30.5m for the Brazilian.
