August Internet Gambling Revenue in Pennsylvania Rises

The financials are in from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board for internet gaming and sports betting for the month of August of2019. GAN plc is therefore updating the market.

The stats reveal that gross revenues of $6.3 million rolled in during the eighth month of the year for internet sports gaming. This is somewhat better than 2018 at $2.9 million.

This increase of 118.6% has not gone unobserved. Meanwhile, total internet sports wagering showed profits of $83.2 million compared to the much lower $39 million earned in July.

The figures do vary month to month. You must factor in payouts for future events made earlier. Of note, unredeemed winning wagers from prior months become deductible upon redemption.
