Derby-winning jockey William Buick missed his rides in France on Sunday that led him to take the sidelines and just sit out this week after feeling unwell before a major return.
Sheikh Mohammed’s powerful Godolphin operation retained Buick in which rides are for trainer Charlie Appleby.
Godolphin released a statement on his website saying:
“William Buick felt unwell this weekend, and will not be race-riding this week.
“He is undergoing tests at Addenbrooke’s hospital and is waiting for the test results before resuming riding.”
