Casino Davos has decided to participate in the newly regulated Swiss market by launching an igaming offering. Casino Davos is jointly owned by German Stadtcasino Baden Group and Ardent Group from Belgium.
As a fourth operator who has launched in the market, Casino Davos offers a plethora of games, including Grand Casino Baden with Jackpots.ch, Grand Casino Luzern, MyCasino.ch and Casuno Pfaffikon Zurichsee via Swiss Casinos.ch. Their online casino games are offered via the Casino777.ch.brand.
It is a joint project and Statcasino Baden holds the majority of Davos with its 46% stake. Other two partners are Ardent Group (44%) and Davos Tourism Organisation (10%).
Since they are involved in the project, Ardent Group has tasked its Gaming1 online casino solutions to fully support the Casino Davos online site. Ardent is also a partner with The Stars Group, the company that operates PokerStars.be in Belgium.
Because of Ardent’s relationship with The Stars Group, there is a possibility for Casino Davos and Poker Stars to join up in the near future, although nothing is confirmed yet.
Stars Group chief executive Rafi Ashkenazi stated that despite delays, the operator will launch Swiss poker in 2019. Only four land-based casinos in Switzerland have the igaming license application approved.
Grand Casino Baden signed a deal with Gamanza, the igaming supplier and they have been powering their platform with Gamanza’s products for quite some time now. On the other hand, Grand Casino Luzern has partnered Playtech, a name well known in the gaming industry.
