The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner has topped the European goal scorer chart as his scores have added up to 16 goals. Through this Christiano has also increased his lead over Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

Another record that the former Real Madrid player has attained with his 128th goal is scoring the most against clubs of a specific country in the UCL. He has now scored 27 goals in 25 appearances against the German teams.

The 34-year-old has now equaled Raul and Messi’s record by scoring consecutively in 14 Champions League seasons.

Similarly, Ronaldo has also broken Iker Cassilas’ record by getting the most Champions League wins in football history.

To add to the list, Ronaldo’s score has equaled Raul’s record. He has scored against 33 Champions League opponents.

The Tuesday victory not only marked his 102nd European Competition but it was also his 16th anniversary since his Champions League debut on October 1st 2003. In his first appearance, the forward was playing for Manchester United.

By breaking all these records, Christiano Ronaldo could bag his 6th Ballon d’Or this year. He may have not won the Best FIFA Men’s Player of the year, but his 128th score could change everything. Congratulations Christiano Ronaldo.
