Daily fantasy sports and sports betting firm DraftKings is preparing to launch its retail and sportsbook platforms in the state of Illinois through its partnership with casino Queen, a local operator.
The DraftKings-Casino Queen application, as well as co-branded brick and motor and retail sites based in St. Louis, will start allowing registered bettors to placers bets on a variety of sporting activities.
Jason Robins, the Co-founder and Chairperson at DraftKings stated that the state is home to very passionate fans and sports teams in the country. This has driven DraftKings to focus on innovation to provide users with premium sports betting services.
Terry Downey, DraftKings-Casino Queen outfit president, added that the merger of the two firms is essentially a promise to develop a memorable experience that only the two companies can offer.
