According to the announcement made by the cutting edge online game developer Yggdrasil, Dreamtech Gaming will be joining its flagship YGS Masters initiative to develop Asian-themed content.

Strategic initiative that brings together the elite of independent game builders

Yggdrasil has launched the Yggdrasil Game Server (YGS) Masters in 2018 as an invite-only, semi-open platform for curating, developing and distributing content from the world’s leading independent games studios.

The programme has been growing steadily and Dreamtech Gaming is the sixth company to take part in it. It has already been joined by AvatarUX, 4ThePlayer, Fantasma, Rabcat and Northern Lights. The first game resulting from the partnership is expected to be introduced in the second quarter of 2019 under the title Niagara Falls.

Dreamtech Gaming is the ideal complement for YGS Masters mission

Dreamtech has been operating for 2 years during which time it has successfully set up offices in Asia, Australia and Europe. Based in Malta, the casino game provider is led by professionals with wide variety of experience from across the industry and prides itself on developing high performing games that combine striking design, a wholesome theme behind each game and well balanced game play.

Under the agreement with Yggdrasil, Dreamtech will be developing games with notably Asian themes. In turn, it will be granted access to BOOST®, Yggdrasil’s collection of proprietary in-game promotional tools that will allow the studio to develop its own versions of these tools within their game clients, as well as run network campaigns.

Satisfaction is on both sides

Stuart McCarthy, Head of Studio Partnerships at Yggdrasil expressed his excitement at signing on Dreamtech Gaming:

“We are delighted to welcome Dreamtech Gaming to the YGS Masters family. Their unique take on Asian-themed content will perfectly complement our studio’s growing portfolio. The addition of Dreamtech to our burgeoning platform is consistent with our strategy to become the best global content publisher in the market, and we look forward to continuing to grow YGS Masters.”

Thomas Lu, at Dreamtech Gaming, shares his enthusiasm:

“We are very excited to be joining YGS Masters, which is rapidly developing a reputation as the industry-leading content curation programme. It gives us a unique opportunity to combine our state-of-the-art graphics and design with Yggdrasil’s market leading tools and strong market outreach. We can’t wait to introduce our upcoming games to all future partners and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with Yggdrasil.”

Life-changing winnings in Yggdrasil’s game

The Stockholm-based game developer has recently made news with their existing game as well. Joker Millions, one of Yggdrasil’s most popular global progressive jackpot games, has brought a certain Betsson player a colossal win of €3.1 million. They have won the unbelievable sum after betting only €1.25.

This is not the first time the company’s global progressive jackpot games, Joker Millions and Empire Fortune, paid out an incredible win. On the contrary, only months earlier the two games awarded a total of €10m in just a two-week period.

In a statement, Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil has declared that the whole company is pleased they are able to reward their loyal fans with gigantic prizes and that he is thrilled it happened on a site that is one of their longest standing partners.
