Dublin Winners of €1 million Lotto Plus Jackpot finally reveal themselves

Lotto

The Dublin lottery luck continues after a local family celebrated their huge Lotto Plus jackpot win the National Lottery headquarters on Thursday 28th.

The large family wishes to keep their €1 million bonanza win private. They bought their Quick Pick ticket for the 23rd March 2019 draw at the Tesco store in the seaside town of Rush. They were also completely unaware of the Lotto celebrations that took place in their neighboring Tesco store the morning after the draw.

The family said that they only found out about their big new fortune when their dad came across his lucky numbers in the Sunday Newspaper.

The father said,

“I spent most of the day flipping through the Sunday paper and all of the supplements and it wasn’t until I got to the front of the paper where the Lotto numbers were listed that I remembered to check my ticket.

“My mouth absolutely dropped when I saw all of my six numbers but I was convinced I had made a mistake.”

He went on to add, “I told myself that my ticket could have been for another draw or something so I didn’t get carried away at all. I must have checked my numbers a hundred times before I realised that we’d won.

“When I eventually told all of the family, they thought I was absolutely barking mad. They took a lot of convincing before they would believe me.”

The winning numbers were: 8, 24, 27, 38, 39, and 40. The bonus was 2.
