A new tournament on the PGA tour, 3M Open, will tee off and will be played at TPC Twin Cities outside Minneapolis.
The tournament will take four days, and Golf Channel will broadcast all the events, including exclusive coverage on Thursday and Friday, CBC will air the last three hours of Saturday and Sunday’s rounds, and fubo TV will offer a 7-day free trial.
Brooks Koepka, the four-time major champ, and world no 1 is among the golfers in the 3M Open. Other golfers include Bryson DeChambeau (No 8), Tony Finau (No. 17), and Jason Day (No.18). Hideki Matsuyama and Charles Howell III will also take part in the tournament.
The four featured groups on Thursday and Friday include most of the tournaments biggest names. Brooks will play alongside Patrick Reed and Kelvin Na, at 11:30 a.m. Bryson DeChambeau, Charles Howell III are in the second group at 11:40 a.m., Tony Finau, Phil Mickelson and Nate Nashley in the third at 6:20 a.m. and the fourth group consists of Jason Day, Corey Conners and Hideki Matsuyama at 6:30 am.
The winner of the 3m Open will earn $1.152 million. The total purse for the tournament is $ 6.4 million which is $900,000 lower than the previous week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic.
