Frank Lampard Wants Chelsea To Give Youngsters A Chance

football

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard wants his former club to give youngsters a chance next season. Chelsea have been slapped with a two window transfer ban and thus may not be able to sign any new players during the next two transfer windows. It will be an interesting time for the Blues especially considering that they may not be able to sign any new players during the next two transfer windows and may have to say goodbye to the long-serving Eden Hazard.

The Belgian has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid. Chelsea will not be able to sign a direct replacement if he departs. Lampard wants to see the Blues giving younger players a chance, something which they are not noted for doing.

“He’s in the top few players in the world. I think we all know that,” He told talkSPORT.

“We’ve seen him in the Premier League and he has been a joy to have. He was a joy to play with.

“I knew his potential from day one when he trained at Chelsea a few years ago now.

“Of course it will be disappointing to lose him for the Premier League but particularly Chelsea.

“You don’t replace Eden Hazard, you have to find ways around it whether it be some of the younger players or the team.

“That’s if you are going to lose him, we don’t know that for sure yet but it seems it might happen.”
