The mobile games developer Gaming Realms PLC has announced Chris Ash as a new member of its board. The experienced entrepreneur and industry executive is taking on his role of non-executive director with immediate effect.
From Ash Gaming through Playtech to Ash Capital and BlueRibbon Software
Having worked in the gaming sector for more than 18 years, Mr. Ash is probably best known as the founder of the interactive gambling and betting games developer Ash Gaming Ltd, which he started in 2002. After selling the enterprise to the gambling software firm Playtech PLC for £23 million in December 2011, he went on to act as the head of solutions in the company’s open platform division where he ran content aggregation business with 25 partner studios and assisted with mergers and acquisitions.
He left the position four years later to set up his own company, Ash Capital, based in London and providing advisory services for software start-ups. At the same time, he invested in the marketing jackpot platform BlueRibbon Software, where he also features as an advisor.
The entrepreneur’s experience presents a valuable contribution to GR’s board
Michael Buckley, Non-executive Chairman at Gaming Realms, is very pleased with the new addition to his board.
“We are delighted that Chris has agreed to join the company; his significant experience in content development and global licensing closely aligns with our strategy to scale our licensing business,” he declared.
