Golden State Have Good Reasons to Worry as Three Key Players Struggle with Injuries

There are good reasons for the Golden State Warriors to worry. Injuries in this year playoff finals have ravaged them. Key players are out due to injuries starting with Kevin Durant.

They have also lost Kevon Looney for virtually the rest of the NBA Finals. Now their shooting and guard Klay Thompson could miss the third game. Thompson who staggered and fell on the floor during the second game victory over Toronto Raptors is now formally diagnosed with a hamstring strain. Whether he will be in the third game, is still unknown.

Thomson has played a part in all the playoff games during his stay in the Warriors. His absence in these playoff finals could be a significant concern for the Warriors.

With only one day remaining to the next game, the Warriors are only hoping that Thompson will get well before the third game. But it is not easy for a team of Warrior’s caliber to go down due to the breakdown of their main guys.

The third game of the series finale will be on Wednesday at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
