England manager Gareth Southgate is set to select Harry Kane for next month’s Nations League after receiving assurances that the striker will be able to play during the games. Southgate is set to name his squad for the tournament on Thursday.
The 25-year-old Kane has been out of action and undergoing rehabilitation following a knock last month. He has missed the Lilywhites past nine games but is hoping to impress during the Champions League final against Liverpool.
Kane is on the road to recovery. He has been running and is expected to soon start working on ball skills again.
If Kane is available, it will be a huge boost to England. There is no doubt that the Englishman is arguably the best English striker in the World.
