Jeremy Lin is slowly fading in the NBA world. The veteran rose in the world of basketball during his run with the New York Knicks in 2012. He led them to win the NBA finals. He is currently a free agent.
The NBA free agency has passed, Lin has not been lucky as each day passed without getting a new contract offer. Lin told reporters in Taiwan that the free agency has been tough on him and he feels like the NBA has given up on him.
Lin climb quickly went down,` Linsanity’ was short-lived. Since his epic performance in 2012, he has been more than serviceable.
In the 2018-19 season, Lin played for Atlanta Hawks whereby he had an average of 10.7 points and 46.6 percent shooting in 51games. He also served as a mentor to a young point guard.
When Lin joined the Toronto Raptors, he played for a while as a backup to guard Fred Van Vleet who had an injury. The 30-year-old player didn’t have firm ground; he struggled in the shooting. He was later dropped when VanVleet returned and had less opportunity to play during Raptors Run to NBA championship.
