José Carlos Figueroa will Represent GLI in the Caribbean


Former Deputy Director of Games of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), Carlos Figueroa was appointed by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) as its Representative of Commercial Relations and Business Development of the Caribbean.

GLI’s Director of Government Relations and Business Development for Latin America and the Caribbean, Karen Sierra-Hughes, was very pleased with this appointment.

“We are very pleased to welcome José Carlos Figueroa to GLI. José Carlos’ years of experience as a PRTC regulator will be an invaluable resource for our esteemed clients in the Caribbean and throughout Latin America.”

Figueroa will be responsible for maintaining the company’s relationships with customers, regulators and game providers, seeking the growth of the GLI business in the region.

Its areas of expertise include audit and licensing processes, gaming policies and regulatory development, as well as compliance with gaming technology and international government relations.

The new acquisition of GLI is a specialist in Accounting with a degree from the University of Puerto Rico, where he graduated in Business Administration.

He also has studies and certifications in several universities such as the University of Nevada and the University of Las Vegas, where he specialized in financial background research techniques, sports betting and slot analysis.
