Kevin Durant Reveals Why He Signed With Nets In the Free Agency

Although Kevin Durant didn’t tell the Brooklyn Nets why he decided to join the team, he recently came out clearly about the franchise.

Durant has made it known why he accepted to deliver his service with the Nets. Nets general manager Sean Marks told WFAN’s Joe Benigno and Evan Robert that Durant loves Nets system and the way they play.

According to Mark, that is the tradition. Nets coach Kenny Atkinson is creating it to make sure they are more competitive.

While in his third season, Atkinson enabled Nets to make their first appearance in the playoff since 2015. At the time he coached his roster of cast-offs, he understated veterans and low draft picks.

Mark also said the organization is changing to accommodate new crop of veteran free agents which include Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, and Garret Temple.

Mark also insisted that Atkinson isn’t going to be different. Kyrie, KD, and DJ all know him and know what to expect.
