Liverpool attacker Xherdan Shaqiri is reportedly a target of Monaco. The Swiss international moved to the Reds last summer from Stoke City.
While he has been unable to usurp the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in Jurgen Klopp’s pecking order, he did establish himself as a useful impact substitute.
He ended off with six goals and five assists in all competitions. The 27-year-old’s dynamism showed during the club’s 4-0 win over Barcelona as he provided a great assist to Wijnaldum’s goal. Klopp must aim to keep hold of Shaqiri as he will be a valuable asset to the Reds during the season ahead.
