The Casinos in Macau are gearing up to restart their business. The operations are likely to resume from February 20. The authorities previously imposed a two-week suspension in view of the coronavirus since February 5.

However, since February 4, no new case has been reported in Macau. However, so far 10 members have been confirmed cases of the virus in total.

The government of Macau said that the operators have 30 days to go back to the full business. The list of operators includes Sands China, Wynn Macau, SJM Holdings, MGM China, Galaxy Entertainment and Melco Resorts.

The Macau Operators can start their operations, however, with all possibilities, business is going to be slow and limited for the operators. The strict control on the entry of the visitor and restricted transport links further hampering the chances. The ferry link services from Hong Kong is still suspended.

Almost 30 hotels along with casinos have been shut for the last two weeks. However, it’s still unclear when the operations of these are going to resume.
