A few hours ago -Sergio Aguero Man City’s striker got involved in an accident that left his Range Rover’s right-side wheel damaged, and yes, the player was in the car. What is not clear is who was behind the wheel. Nevertheless, speculations suggest that Sergio was the one driving the car at the time.
Fortunately, it’s only the car that received surmountable damages on the right side of the bonnet, the striker also came out unharmed and did not require medical attention.
It is obvious that this incident is not a reason that may excuse Aguero in the scheduled clash with Crystal Palace, this coming Sunday.
Even so, unless his spokesperson confirms, it may not be a guarantee that the 31-year old would be in the games, because he is on record for having missed two games during the international season break for very petty issues last season.
Talking of the incident that happened a few hours ago, reports point out that Aguero was headed to the City Football Academy before the incident. Details as what the errant was about are not clear, however, as there were no trainees at the time in the academy, the whole squad has been on holiday, awaiting an international duty.
Sergio confirmed the rumor was true after he revealed a picture of his damaged car on social media, followed by the phrase, “what a morning.”
Despite the incident, however, rumors have it that Lionel Scaloni, Argentina’s coach has already confirmed that the player would be in the first team, as well as in the line in their oncoming games.
