Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has revealed that he feels that the young Mason Greenwood is ready for first-team football. Greenwood impressed during pre-season and has been tipped to break into the Red Devils first team this season.
Wales national team manager Giggs said:
“I like Greenwood but playing centre forward for United every week is a different thing.
“Not many youngsters have come through the ranks to play centre forward for the club. Marcus Rashford has done it but they usually buy someone in.
“I think we will see a lot of Mason this season because he is such a talent. Every time I see him I like him but he is still very young and learning the game.”
