Paul Pogba has been linked with a move away from Manchester United during recent months after openly indicating a desire to leave Old Trafford. Real Madrid and Juventus have been tipped as the two most likely clubs for the Frenchman to join.
The Red Devils have reportedly been trying to identify replacements since Pogba indicated a desire to leave the club. While they do have Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira as options, both are not as gifted as the Frenchman.
United had a torrid season last term as they finished sixth, however Pogba’s hard work was often taken for granted. Although he struggled under Jose Mourinho, he was largely improved under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and went on to rack up 16 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
Given all of this, Pogba is the man best suited to spearheading the United midfield this season if the club wants to improve.
