The award-winning online poker network Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) will be closed by its parent company Microgaming in 2020. The company that has remained for 16 years providing entertaining players and amazing gaming experiences, announced a change in their plans.
Microgaming CEO John Coleman said:
“The network model no longer fits our strategic vision for poker, and this is the right time to announce the closure while we focus on the redistribution of resources and key personnel throughout the company.”
He added that the closure of the network does not mean that this is
“the end for poker in Microgaming, which aims to create the most enjoyable entertainment experiences, leading the way with world-class game content.”
“Ultimately, this movement will help the business achieve that vision as we follow a new strategic direction for the vertical, whose details will be revealed in due course,” John Coleman said last.
