Isle of Man-based gaming software maker Microgaming announced its support for the Gordon Moody Association in its fight to help players affected by gambling problems. In this way, individuals will receive therapy while families will be provided the means to deal with this problem.
For nearly 50 years, the Gordon Moody Association has been providing players and their families with education, counseling, and therapeutic help. The renowned organization also provides a number of services and treatment options, including counseling and retirement programs.
The association owns residential treatment centers as well as relapse prevention homes. Likewise, it offers affected players the possibility of accessing online help programs thanks to its Gambling Therapy application.
Microgaming PlayItForward is a CSR program aimed at supporting charities around the world, including YGAM and Motiv8. It focuses on the prevention, treatment and reduction of gambling problems. The program was initially launched in 2014 and since then its impact at the national and international level has been enormous.
Similarly, the program has provided financial and practical assistance to thousands of people around the world.
