Liverpool have been hit with a fresh injury blow as Naby Keita limped out of the final training ahead of Super Cup game against Chelsea in Istanbul.
The squad were carrying out their last training for the Super Cup final, when Keita was seen walking out and down the tunnel.
He was walking alongside a physio, suggesting it could be a return of his latest injury setback. The Guinea international missed five games at the end of last season with a groin injury.
Keita was also ruled out of the remainder of the AFCON after picking up a knock on international duty. He then returned to Liverpool for further examination.
The midfielder has now missed 11 games for Liverpool through injury since his arrival from RB Leipzig last summer.
His injury comes just a few days after goalkeeper Alisson Becker suffered a calf injury in their Premier League opener against Norwich, and he expected to be on the sidelines for weeks.
