Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere or NAVI opted for a partnership with crypto exchange Bybit for three years. Following the footprints of the other examples converging between the cryptos and the esports, Bybit is now sponsoring the major CIS organization. It is putting its effort to put its name on the map in its esports space.
This deal will now see the players of NAVI donning the logo of the exchange on their jerseys. Also, it includes impact-driven collaboration like school projects, charity initiatives, and campaigning against bullying activities.
With its start in March of 2018, Bybit has managed to boast more than 2 million users. It has been named as the exclusive platform of the org for crypto. It will also use its exposure from its sponsorship to promote its competition for the World Series of Trading.
This is the first-ever move into esports for Bybit. However, they are now not the first crypto-focused company to enter this industry. FTX is another crypto exchange that has spent $ 210 m across 10 years to sponsor North American org TSM.
NAVI has currently held a partnership with other mainstream brands like Monster Energy, Philips, Logitech, and PUMA. The values of the deal, along with Bybit, had not yet been disclosed. But Dexerto has come up with the request for important information. Hence the article will get updated to reveal the figure accordingly.
Chief Marketing Officer of NAVI, Alexander Pavienko, said that he believes this was about to happen for sure. He continued,
“Cryptocurrency and esports have much in common: They are new, fast-growing, and interesting to keep watch and learn.”
He further added,
“We shall strive to show esports fans the real value of digital-based communication by cryptocurrency platform Bybit and our team. Also, we want to represent the esports world to cryptocurrency enthusiasts as a point of their interest.”
