Ozil Wants MLS Move

Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil reportedly wants to move to the MLS. The former German international is currently the second highest paid player in the Premier League behind Alexis Sanchez who earns £350 000 and the Gunners will be keen to get him off their wage bill.

Ozil’s representatives are reportedly set to have talks with DC United. The American club will be keen to sign a marquee player given that Wayne Rooney is due to leave the club and join Derby County in a player/coach role in January.

Finances could be a problem and Arsenal may have to pay to ensure that a deal goes through as salaries in the MLS are not as good as the Premier League.
