Partypoker’s MILLIONS South America Underway in Uruguay

MILLIONS South America is already drawing attention. We now know partypoker has heading to the host country, Uruguay.
There are fifteen events to scrutinize as all eyes are on Punta del Este. Of note, a huge $25,000+500 Super High Roller is the coveted prize down to the $220 Bounty and turbo events.

But it is the Main Event that draws the pros, at least those with $10,300. In addition, they are all eager to see who enters the High Roller event.

The highlight of every festival is its Main Event, however, and with the Main Event for the same fee.
The action is kicking off with many concurrent events. Who will be the richest player? Given the growth and popularity of the MILLIONS tour, there are multiple contenders.

Expect the headlines as the big winners prevail. They will also reflect what happens at Poker Central’s ‘Open’ Championships.
Uruguay’s stunning beaches and beautiful scenery are a great backdrop to the casino event, said to be a ‘Vegas-like’ experience.
The host resort is largely a summer-based tourism industry for the uber rich, so there is plenty to do after the tournament.

Punta del Este is nicknamed ‘the Monaco of South America’ because of its glamour and small population. Poker is a welcome attraction to the community. Last year’s MILLIONS South America took place in Rio de Janeiro, a city with a completely different vibe.
Player feedback on the resort will likely determine where the flagship tournament for partypoker ends up next year.
