The cooperation between Relax Gaming and ReelPlay since August of 2019 has been producing great results. Now a new IP agreement for the cutting-edge Infinity Reels™ mechanics is at stake with PG Soft, a mobile game development company based in Malta that powers Relax’s offerings.
It is a powerful feature with enormous potential and Relax was among the first to acquire the intellectual property rights under its Powered By program. Its third-party studio partners will be the beneficiaries. According to Simon Hammon, CPO,
“Both Silver Bullet and Powered By were devised to give creative studios exposure and allow them to capitalize on our extensive distribution and deals. It’s great to see a partner taking full advantage of the offerings our program provides.”
Commenting on the deal with PG Soft, David Johnson, CCO at ReelPlay, said that he welcomes PG Soft’s interest in Infinity Reels™ and is excited to see the treatment they come up within their own interpretation of the IP.
“Relax provided the perfect glue in bringing the parties together. ReelPlay has only scratched the surface of the potential of Infinity Reels™ . We look forward to all manner of implementations from our new partners.”
A bit of background: ReelPlay’s El Dorado Infinity Reels™ debuted last November and proved an instant success with its inventive mechanics. And there is a lot more in the area of exclusive solutions to come due to a deal between NetEnt and ReelPlay.
Following the conclusion of the IP deal, PG Soft, Relax’ partner, will be able to incorporate the innovative mechanic into their future productions. According to Ken Zhang, the Managing Director and Co-founder of PG SOFT™, the company is pleased to gain the IP rights to such a unique mechanic.
“Thanks to Relax the process was smooth and efficient. The team facilitated our connection and were indispensable in orchestrating the agreement.”
PG SOFT™ is anxious to get started on our first Infinity Reels™ release and thanks ReelPlay for opening up the IP.
In related news, aside from this significant agreement, the forward-thinking company has joined forces with EveryMatrix, an award-winning independent London-based software company.
