Pixel Smartphones are going to see new the Google’s Call Screen Feature

Home » Pixel Smartphones are going to see new the Google’s Call Screen Feature

The feature which helps the Pixel smartphone users to know who is calling with the help of Google Assistant is going roll out soon. Google is planning to provide this feature from the Pixel smartphones.

The feature helps the users to check the real-time transcript of how the caller responds according to which user can decide whether to pick up the call or not or the user can respond by tapping a quick reply or can mark the number as a spam and dismiss it.

This feature saves the time spent on picking up unimportant calls from unknown numbers, does not use Wi-Fi or mobile data of the user. It does not work with the third-party call recording and screen recording apps as these apps may affect how this feature works so it is better to turn off these apps before using this feature.

To use this feature on the Pixel smartphones, the user first needs to get an incoming call. Once the call ends, the phone will automatically save the details of the conversation in the phone’s call log. To check the transcript, the user needs to go the recent calls log and tap on the call whose details we want to see. From there select the option Call details where a note appears i.e. See Transcript. Tapping on this option will show the transcript of that call.

The feature is only available to English speakers in the United States who have Pixel 2, 2 XL, 3, or 3XL devices. As per Google, the Pixel smartphones who have this features do not have the transcripts of the call now but it will available in the future. Hope this feature will add more values to the Pixel smartphone.
