Playtech and GVC have decided to partner and establish a new live casino studio. The studio will have its venue at and a purpose-built establishment that will feature a roulette studio and five blackjack tables to start with. More tables will follow suit in the next two months.
Games will take place against a backdrop featuring a video wall that will be featuring a city skyline, which, as Playtech states, will create a visual spectacle for gamblers.
Shimon Akad, Chief operating officer at Playtech, stated that GVC had been a long-standing partner of theirs for years and they are happy to grow their partnership through the new venture.
Akad also noted that they had set aside a significant amount of investment in terms of facilities and technology over the past few years to diversify their content.
Shay Segev, Akad’s counterpart at described the live casino as a significant investment in igaming, which will offer layers plenty of immersive and entertainment-oriented experiences.
The investors have thrown many resources into delivering this casino and its content. In 2019 alone, they have launched plenty of variants, and they are now working towards making their presence felt in new markets. In Q3 of 2019, they have launched a dedicated roulette portfolio that will be rolled out in the Spanish market.
