PokerStars launched an exciting new game this weekend as they welcomed players to the PokerStars Virtual Reality online poker room at Thanksgiving Weekend games. The theme? Well, they’re… spies.

PokerStars launch Thanksgiving Weekend’s spy-themed virtual reality If you’ve ever wanted to slip into James Bond’s tuxedo or wear Jason Bourne’s uncomfortable sense of not really knowing what’s going on other than someone else’s need for shooting–face facts, Bourne fans–then the PokerStars VR World may be for you.

With digital weapons, spy-themed challenges and a VR world built to draw in those of us who love a thriller theme to go with our poker thrills, it’s not just PokerStars that are excited about it, as Joe ‘ Stapes ‘ Stapleton shared on Twitter.

PokerStars VR World Schedule:

November 29th – Millionaire Maker / 100,000-chip buy-in event
November 30th – Main Event / 5,000,000-chip buy-in event
December 1st – Ultra High Roller / 25,000,000-chip buy-in event

While seeing Stapes, Ben Spragg, Georgina James and others in play, you will take the action with the first PokerStars VRPT bracelet up for grabs. With the game completely free to play, even in most of the U.S., Thanksgiving is obviously a time for presents like Christmas for online poker players in the U.S. who are disappointed with the lack of action.

The gameworld is incredibly intuitive to play, and with the realism of environments like’ Macau 2050,” The Monte Carlo Yacht,’ and’ Showdown Saloon,’ the fair has all the fun to have.

You can play NLHE, take on members of the PokerStars team, and even other Twitch streamers, so there’s no barred banter holds all over.
From Steam, Oculus Store, or Viveport, you can download PokerStars Virtual Reality and tune into the future right in your hand palm–and through your own eyes.
