Get Ready for Dice, Dice, Dice
It wasn’t that long ago that Red Tiger Gaming was a fledgeling provider which needed a larger, more successful developer to take it under its wing. How the tables have turned in such a short space of time. Red Tiger Gaming has come on in leaps and bounds and is now taking care of new software providers themselves, as is evident from their partnership with R7.
The partnership between the two providers is already blossoming, as R7 was successfully able to launch the Dice Dice Dice slot at online gambling sites this week. R7 is not known for producing conventional slots, and that becomes apparent once one dives into the nuts and bolts of the Dice Dice Dice slot.
Red Tiger Gaming and R7 Enter a Partnership
Little is known about R7. The small-scale group is known to develop slots and bingo games, many of which can be found on the Google Play Store as downloadable apps. Some of the more commanding titles produced by R7 in the past include Halloween, Ice Age and a handful of others. Devil’s Number represents one of the more bizarre entries from the provider, and it was the first of their games to debut.
Red Tiger Gaming appears to have come to the aid of R7, providing them with a distribution service at online gambling websites. By joining forces with Red Tiger Gaming, R7 should be able to receive greater coverage for their games and attract a following of their own. Whether Dice Dice Dice has enough about it to be a hit, though, remains to be seen.
A Classic Take on Old-School Slot Gameplay
Dice Dice Dice is a modern take on the classic slots genre. Naturally, the game features symbols and imagery which heavily draws on legendary slots of yesteryear. Red sevens, watermelons, cherries, bells, diamonds and oranges represent just a handful of the symbols on the reels of this game, which is played over a 5×3 screen, with the slot’s 5 reels containing a total of 10 paylines. Stakes are cheap as chips in the R7/Red Tiger release, costing anything from 0.10 up to 20.00 a spin.
As you might expect with any classic-style slot, the gameplay falls somewhere between medium and high volatility levels, and the RTP is scarcely above the industry standard at 95.7%. Prizes are at least generous, being capped at a non-progressive haul just shy of 5,500x a bet.
Modern Features in a Retro-Looking Slot
With most other classic slots, any reviews or news articles tend to end. Only a sporadic few such games contain special features. However, the developers have ensured that Dice Dice Dice has no shortage of them. Unsurprisingly, these tend to revolve around dice, as you might have guessed.
A dice symbol can appear on the third reel. The dice will then roll (if it appears as part of a winning combo) and will apply whatever number appears on it as a multiplier against the value of your win. On the odd occasion, two and perhaps even three dice can appear, resulting in considerably valuable multipliers springing up.
A re-spin feature also finds its way into this game. This a randomly triggered bonus. Players will be given notice when it occurs, though, as the reels will shake a little bit. Once it kicks into gear, a randomly assigned number of re-spins are afforded to players. The dice tend to appear more frequently in this bonus, too, which often results in considerable wins coming a player’s way.
Red Tiger Distribute Dice Dice Dice to Top Casinos
Dice Dice Dice isn’t likely to blow anybody away, but the new game has quality about it. At the very least, R7 have managed to produce something which does stand out compared to the plethora of other classic slots you can play online. There are similarities between this and Net Entertainment’s Grand Spinn, but this is not a provider we would ordinarily accuse of copycatting.
Gameplay is a touch on the average side in the game, but there are perks to playing it as well as cons, such as…
- Cheap and affordable gameplay
- Widely available at Red Tiger Gaming casinos
- Thematically neutral to appeal to all players
- Arguably similar to Grand Spinn in gameplay
- Not the most exciting slot ever to debut
Whether those pros and cons have any bearing on how successful the game goes on to be, only time will tell. Players who want to take another trip down memory lane this month may also wish to try Blueprint Gaming’s Carry On Camping, which becomes the latest classic slot to debut in their Pub Fruity Series.
