Red Tiger Mines a Wonderful New Game
Mining-themed slots tend to do rather well in the online casino world. Every developer worth their salt has produced at least one. Red Tiger Gaming is no different. This December, the slot provider is aiming to bring 3D imagery and animation to the slot genre, as their Dynamite Riches slot makes its grand debut at casinos.
As players will be able to tell from the title of this release, the new slot is a mining and diamond-themed slot. Many similarly-themed games tend to be a touch on the basic side, both in terms of graphics and features. There is none of that going on with Dynamite Riches, which serves up plenty of both to players.
No Official Word on Dynamite Riches
Red Tiger Gaming is not a casino software provider which is known for going overboard with press releases. There has been no official word from the company about the release of the game. Instead, Red Tiger tends to let their games do the talking for them.
However, the last month or so has undoubtedly been a busy time for the slot developer. They recently announced partnership deals with ComeOn Casino and VideoSlots.com, both of which will now be able to carry the new Dynamite Riches slot. Those deals come after Hourly Jackpots were introduced to some of the developer’s titles. In September, Red Tiger came under new ownership, too, having been bought out by Scandinavian powerhouse, NetEnt.
With major changes such as these, it is no wonder that Red Tiger Gaming has been mum on the launch of their Dynamite Riches game.
About the Dynamite Riches Slot
Even without an official press release from Red Tiger, we can learn a lot about the game just by trying our hand at it. Dynamite Riches adopts the standard casino slot formula of 5 reels and 20 paylines. It is easily affordable for all players, costing between 0.10 and 20.00 a spin. Non-progressive prizes are fair without being overly lavish, standing at over 5,300x a bet. Like most modern slots, the volatility level in the new game is naturally high, and the return to player rate in Red Tiger’s game is just 95.7%.
Three different wild symbols spring up in the slot, and these are primarily responsible for some of the grander wins that players can snap up in the release. These appear as gold bars, dynamite and diamond icons. The gold bars and diamond wild symbols only appear in bonuses. You’ll need dynamite wilds to trigger them, so let’s look at those icons next.
Inside Red Tiger’s New Game
Should a dynamite symbol appear on the reels, it will trigger a fuse. That is located above the reels. Once enough wilds have been accumulated, the dynamite will explode, unlocking four special modifiers. These can include the ability to see low paying symbols removed from the reels, see random wilds dished out (appearing as the gold bars mentioned above) pocket multipliers worth up to 10x, or unlock 2×2 and 3×3 colossal wilds (they appear as the diamond wilds). These bonuses will come into play on your next base game spin. With so many wilds to assist you, you’re never far away from a decent win in Dynamite Riches.
Once players trigger the Gold Spins bonus (they need three or more on the reels), they will start a free spin round which offers at least eight games. Additional bonus spins can be won when three or more scatters appear on the reels. Players can expect to pocket wins from all four of the base game modifiers during this feature.
The Pros and Cons of Dynamite Riches
First and foremost, Dynamite Riches looks considerably better than many of its counterparts. The use of 3D graphics helps the slot stand out from so many of the other titles in this genre. Nobody is going to grumble at landing symbol remove, random wild, colossal wild or multiplier features. The fact that all of these goodies can find their way into your free spin bonus round is certainly impressive.
The only downside is the limited number of free spins a player starts out with. Given the goodies on offer, though, that is to be expected. Besides further spins can be won if enough scatters reappear on the reels.
Dynamite Riches is not the first “Riches” slot to debut from Red Tiger. Players will find similarities between this new release and the developer’s Eagle Riches, with that game taking on a similar, Wild West theme. There are also similarities between Dynamite Riches and Red Tiger’s Treasure Mine. Both similarly-themed games can be found at the same casinos offering this new release this December.
