Making its way to offshore casinos which cater to American players (amongst others) is Real Time Gaming’s Trigger Happy. This week, the providers are aiming to bring a touch of the Wild West to online casinos across the net with their latest gun-toting release.
Trigger Happy dishes out considerably better graphics than we are ordinarily used to seeing in an RTG game, but other elements of the slot are exactly what we might expect. For instance, there are both Minor and Major Jackpot prizes ready and waiting for players which can be won at random.
Lining Up Those Shots
Having a shot at winning a prize on this game is relatively simple to do. Despite the thematic wagering menu, the betting buttons are in relatively the same places that they are in other games from Real Time Gaming. These can see players wager on 30 fixed paylines, and bet anything from a base minimum of 30p a game, up to no more than £7.50 a spin.
The non-progressive jackpots are triggered at random, and there are two of those available. At the time of writing, the Minor and Major Jackpot prizes worth around £300 and £1,900, respectively. That might sound petite, but that is about average for an RTG slot.
Wild Features and Plenty of Them
Two types of wilds appear in Trigger Happy. The first is a Redhead Cowgirl, the second a Blonde Cowgirl. The red-haired cowgirl can appear as grouped wilds on the first and second reels. The blonde cowgirls can appear as grouped wilds on the fourth and fifth reels. Both can substitute for all icons barring scatters, which appear as a sheriff’s badge and can dish out 7 free spins when 3 or more appear on the reels.
In that bonus, players can select either of the cowgirls to act as a 2x multiplier wilds during the feature. Alongside the multiplier feature, each wild has its own free spin bonus features which it brings into play, including expanding wilds which can cover reels or wilds which can count for scatters. A randomly triggered Lucky Feature also appears in this game. This primarily amounts to a triggering of the free spin bonus, albeit without scatters being required.
RTG Casinos Are the Place to Be
Most Real Time Gaming (RTG) casinos will be able to provide players with the Trigger Happy slot this week as it makes its debut. Very few European casinos dish out games from this provider, so players may have to look beyond European shores at offshore casinos catering to American, Australian and South African players to find a place to play this new release.
