Scientific Games pen a deal that would see them provide Wave retailer terminals to Sisal exclusively.
The new deal came after scientific Games secured a limited and private tender, which Italy’s Sisal ran as it prepared to have a sub-contractor run its SuperEnalotto. Sisal won the bid this past July before it signed the lasted deal with Scientific Games.
Sisal fought off competition from the likes of Sazka and Lottomatica to win SuperEnalotto’s sub-contract. They plan to launch terminals from Scientific Games around Italy in 2020.
According to Marco Caccavale, Scientific Games’ operational prowess and innovative portfolio played a huge part in Sisal winning the tender.
Sisal has been using products from Scientific Games for a long time because the latter being among the first few entities to own the gaming machines. Their initial purchase included close to 20000 terminals.
Based on Pat Mchugh, Scientific Games’ Chief executive, the new deal with the main contractor Sisal is a clear demonstration of their products’ value in a very competitive environment. Scientific Games also stated that they are excited to be working with Sisal.
This deal comes in the wake of Scientific Games current 10-year contract to supply several instant win machines and its technology Milli Piyango, a Turkish lottery firm.
A collaboration between Sans Dijital, a Turkish Subsidiary, and Sisal owns the rights to lottery firm Milli Piyango. It has also been revealed that the Collaboration’s supplier of instant win machines will be Scientific Games.
