Sheffield United completed the signing of Muhamed Besic on a season long loan deal from Everton. The Bosnia and Herzegovina international went on to make 56 appearances for the Toffees since joining them from Hungarian club Ferencvaros five years ago.
After virtually being deemed surplus to requirements at Goodison Park, Besic spent the past 18 months on the books of Middlesbrough in the Championship. He became the Blades 10th new signing of the summer and joined the likes of Phil Jagielka, Callum Robinson, Ravel Morrison, Lys Mousset, Luke Freeman, Dean Henderson, Ben Osborn, Oliver McBurnie and Michael Verrips.
While mainly a defensive midfielder, Besic is also capable of playing in central midfield or even as an advanced midfielder. Besic is capable of adding plenty of value to Chris Wilder’s side.
