Smarkets Reveals SBK, The New Betting App

Smarkets, a UK based betting exchange operator, has revealed the launch of SBK today.  Branded as “fairest and funniest” app for betting on politics and sport, SBK combines Smarkets’ exchange prices with a social-optimized interface.

The revolutionary SBK Price + feature is designed to compare the odds from bookies and deliver the user the best offer to place his money on. With this modern technology by his side, the user will be provided with the best odds in the world.

Tomorrow is the starting date for signing up and betting on SBK (9 of August). The application is set in a private test mode, with a long waiting list for the last 12 months.

Jason Trost, Smarkets CEO and Founder commented on this new app:

“We are extremely excited to fully launch SBK having made substantial improvements since the beta introduction last year. By combining innovative technology with transparent and fair odds, I believe we are able to offer a product like no other in the market, which will help us continue to have an impact in an industry dominated by a few big players who don’t seek to give customers the best value.”

The Smarkets exchange processed over £14 billion since its establishment in 2010. It is known to offer much more flexibility, trading options, and information than sportsbook user experience of SBK.

Trost commented further:

“While some bettors prefer the advanced features of Smarkets, we created SBK for those customers who want the better pricing of an exchange with the cleaner interface of a sportsbook.”

SBK will be initially launched in the UK, but Smarkets will want to expand the sales in the growing USA betting market.
