Punta del Esta Resort in Uruguay is currently witnessing PartyPoker MILLIONS South America High Roller. This is one of the most interesting events where players can turn $25000 entry into a massive $325,000 in one day action. This is quite worth attending.
It was interesting to see that many big names could not make it to Day 2. Highly valued players like Fabrizio Gonzalez, Robert Heidorn, Anthony Zinno, Kenny Hallaert and Yuri Dzivielevski, failed to get into the Day 2.
The rule is that only five members would make cash. The total number of players who survived for Day 2 was 15. Hence, only one-third of the players had a chance to gain profit. The minimum cash worth was set at $60,000.
Marty Mathis was the leader of the chip on Day 1. He might continue his form on Day 2 as well. He quadrupled his stacks at blinds of 2500/5000. James Romero was, however, following up with a total of 4,300,000 chips. Niall Farrell from Scotland was also enjoying the middle. He raised with queen-nine spades, however, he faced three-bet from Antonio Martinac, who had pocket kings.
However, when the flop came, ten ten three with three spades, Farrell checked Martinac. Farrell ended up getting a huge lead. However, it was not only Farrell, but German Rainer Kempe also sat behind 3,205,000 chips at the end of the day as well. Joao Simao also took part in the event. He got involved in a big pot and was up against the pocket kings against Freek Scholten. Simao’s jack-three troubled in front of Scholten’s ace-jack-three. Scholten got some more chips as well.
However, the names like Dzmitry Urbanovich got 2,675,000 chip points as well.
These players have made their efforts to collect the huge chips. But who among them would make it $325,000? Well, the only action on Day 2 would tell that.
Here is the list of leading Chip takers on day 1.
