The State of New Hampshire has launched its Sport Betting system and currently locals are able to bet at retail locations and online.
DraftKings and New Hampshire Lottery launched online and Mobile sports betting in the State on the 30th of December.
Chris Sununu, the Governor of New Hampshire, placed the state’s ceremonial bet on New England Patriots to win in the Super Bowl at a local licensed retailer alongside one of the founders of DraftKing, one Matt Kalish. Also present during the launch was Rob Ninkovich, a former NFL star.
The contract between DraftKings and New Hampshire Lottery came into effect in November last year after approval by the executive council in the state through a public bidding process. The agreement stipulates that the state of New Hampshire will receive half of the revenue from sports betting, and the money will go towards education.
