Starlink is popular as a satellite internet constellation. It is constructed by SpaceX to offer satellite internet access.

The most famous cryptocurrency influencer and the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, is the founder of Starlink. But now, Starlink itself is a victim of the bitcoin scam, which is malicious enough. It has offered the service at half of its price to potential customers.

These malicious hackers created a duplicate website of Starlink to generate a complete trap. The hackers have proposed customers pay nearly US$249 as hardware price and US$49 as a month-to-month price through this scam.

However, the official website of Starlink offers the hardware price worth US$499 and a month-to-month price of US$99.

Hackers put their focus on the followers of Elon Musk in Iran for earning a rapidly huge amount of money. It is easier to attract customers to Starlink as Elon Musk has made many announcements regarding the events of bitcoin.

The active Reddit and Twitter users have realized the bitcoin scam and highlighted a few red flags from the fake Starlink website. The mistake that the hacker made is that Starlink has literally no connection with Iran. Also, Elon Musk has not yet published any news on establishing relationships with Iran.

The hackers had mentioned that the payment through bitcoin is completely confidential to provide Starlink Internet in the Persian language. The users have received a form with their name, phone, and email address in the first step. Then, the duplicate site followed with a separate mail for initiating the payment in bitcoin. This sign-up process is completely different from the original Starlink website.

Some users have already complained about it as a new scam as the social media engagement rate of this duplicate website does not match with the original company. Elon Musk has been facing many scams and frauds in his companies and cryptos. He is an easier target for many frauds. They are using him to create many scams. But, in the end, consumers have faced a massive loss of 80 million dollars for this bitcoin scam.
