The Tennis Integrity Supervisory Board has finally approved the merge of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP) and Tennis Anti-Doping Program (TADP) into a single body.
While TACP covers all issues related to betting, TADP was administered directly by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) ensuring that illegal substances were kept at a distance from this sport.
“We are confident there will be significant benefits from integrating these two strong programs into a single organization. They include enhanced information sharing between the anti-doping and anti-corruption teams and the opportunity to join up education and support for players,” Board Chair Jennie Price said.
The new joint organization will start with its anti-doping program on January 1st, 2021.
