Tom Brady is coming into his 20th NFL seasons. In previous years, Brady never played in a contract year, but this time around, he remains attached to his 2019 deal.
The Patriots legend is soon turning 42 years old. His career in the NFL does not appear to come to an end. Brady has indicated that he will be in the game until his mid-forties.
Two of Brady’s contract with the Patriots were agreed upon after the training camp began. His first $28 million four years extension was agreed in august 2002 while his 2010 $72 million four year deal was signed close to the season-opening game.
According to Robert Kraft, there is no reliable successor of Brady on the roster. He agreed that he would like to see another Brady extension. The six-time Super Bowl champion will likely see his 21st season with the Patriots.
Brady has been included in Patriots 2019 roster; the contract is providing a $6 million cap space which will help the defending champions bolster the team.
