Tottenham were linked with a move for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala during the summer transfer window. The Argentine does not appear to be in the Old Lady’s future plans with their manager Maurizio Sarri having suggested that the club will look to offload some players in order to balance the books after they also brought in the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Matthijs de Ligt, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsay fairly recently.
Spurs could be dealt a major blow in the near future given that Christian Eriksen is entering the final year of his contract and looks unlikely to remain with the North Londoners for the long-term.
Dybala is unlikely to have a difficult time settling into life at Spurs. The club already has a strong Argentine contingent with the likes of Erik Lamela, Juan Foyth, Paolo Gazzaniga and Giovanni Lo Celso on their books.
