This year the alliances and associations between companies in the industry and other related firms have grown. It’s as if everyone wants to be in the sports gambling and betting business. Even Australian casino games maker Aristocrat Leisure is reportedly considering doing so.

Among these new alliances is the most recent one from Turner Sports and the market leading operators DraftKings and FanDuel. Both will participate in some programming options of the American communication company. As it has been doing with the Bleacher Report website purchased by Turner in 2012.

DraftKings will become Turner’s official and exclusive sportsbook for all sports that the company broadcasts, except for NBA games that will be run by FanDuel. Little is said about the millions of dollars involved in these agreements, but it is clear that it is a great deal for everyone.

Now all sports game transmission channels and platforms, whether ESPN, CBS or Yahoo, are seeking partnerships with operators and sports betting companies to incorporate them into their broadcasts. In a few years we will see how these alliances will shape a different picture from the one observed today.

FanDuel, who has been working with Turner for some time, will see their brand integrated with NBA programming on Turner Sports. This includes all live broadcasts produced by the television and video channel. Likewise, it will be present in the digital channels of Bleacher Report and in its application.

“Together, we’re bringing viewership to the next level by offering exclusive sports betting content that’s directly integrated into their NBA programming”, said FanDuel Chief Marketing Officer Mike Raffensperger.

“We’ll be incorporating FanDuel Sportsbook odds and analysis into Turner Sport’s live broadcasts and Bleacher Report’s digital content, offering a new, enhanced, experience for NBA fans,” he added.

For his part, Turner Sports Executive Vice President Will Funk said:

“NBA fans on TNT and Bleacher Report are responding well to sports betting content. We’ve already seen it with television and the digital elements that we designed with FanDuel last season, and we’re excited to expand our partnership.”

He also noted that the company’s goal “is to increase the NBA’s audience through interactive FanDuel game experiences integrated into Turner Sports platforms.”

During sports broadcasts on TV and digital channels, DraftKings will present their odds and statistics. Viewers will also be able to get alerts and editorial content that will also appear in the Bleacher Report app.

“Regulated gambling is fast becoming a fixture in modern sports entertainment, and this collaboration with Turner Sports further expands the reach of our products and content to engage fans,” said Ezra Kucharz, Chief Commercial Officer, DraftKings.
