TV campaigns are always an effective strategy. Betano and Unibet know this well. In fact, these German sports betting operators intend to go this route. As customers of Magic Sports Media, they will be advertising on the Sport1 free-to-air sports channel.

It seems that this is the opportune time as sports fans are back in the picture and ready to receive promotional communications. This is not the first time for Betano to opt for TV advertising. It has been successful in the past. Of note, the operator has been awarded the title of EGR Mobile Operator of the Year.

As for Unibet, it is promoting itself in the country’s sports association, Bundesliga. It would be the second year on Sport1. The TV spots will air on Sunday mornings and with Sky Sports News.

Given that Unibet is the official betting partner of Borussia Monchengladbach, Unibet will advertise in Austria. According to Christian Madlindl, managing director of Magic Sports Media,
